Another Set Back

I feel like my body is being punished after getting such great news yesterday. I am so sick. My fever spiked up again. It became clear today that my infection is coming from one of the incisions from the mastectomy. I have red streaks coming from the area that hadn't healed yet. It was not good news but at least they now know where the infection is and how to treat it. By the time I left the cancer center I was sicker than I went in. I couldn't stop shaking. I actually shook for four hours. I was miserable.

I'm a little better now so it was important for me to let everyone know how to pray. If my fever goes up to 101 I have to be admitted into the hospital. Right now it is 100.5. Pray that the medications would fight the infection. Also, pray for my stomach as all the meds are having havoc with it. To say I'm exhausted would be an understatement.

This nightmare seems to be getting longer and longer.

Lord, please put your healing hand upon my body. Take away my fever and give me strength. Amen.
