Appointments

I'm sitting by the fire enjoying a rainy day and thought I would update you on my upcoming appointments.

Wednesday, January 28th - Appointment with oncologist.
Thursday, January 29th - Appointment with plastic surgeon (These appointments cause a lot of discomfort afterwards because they are filling the expanders which causes my breast muscle and the skin to stretch).
Saturday, January 31st - PET-CT Scan at 10:00 am.
Wednesday, February 4th - Surgery to place port in my chest for chemo (not sure what time - I'll let you know because I really need your prayers to get me through another surgery.)

Please continue to pray as emotionally I have been feeling so much better. I've learned that instead of taking one day at a time I might have to take one moment at a time. Each day is a learning experience. Pray specifically as I'm going to these appointments that I would just have peace and not experience so many anxious thoughts (or an upset stomach).

Philippians 4:6,7 - Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Traci, I have a port, the procedure to put it in was not bad at all. I have been approched while receiving my treatment by others considering the port. I can not recomend it enough. You can shower, swim, bath, basically get wet. So, put that put this part of all this aside. All the other anxiety, I will be praying for you. All I can say is it is a moment by moment process.
Nice seeing Katie yesterday.
