I wanted to make sure I let everyone know that I was told today that my surgery will be 5 to 6 hours. If you don't hear from Jim before 7:00 pm don't worry...just keep praying.
I've been so impressed with the staff at UCLA so far. I've had calls from doctors, nurses, and administration. They are sure getting everything ready.
It's 8:25 pm and we are almost ready to head to LA. Our hotel is only 2 blocks away from the hospital. No rush hour traffic - yeah!!
I love you all so much!!

A Wonderful Gift
As soon as I realized I was going to have surgery I knew I wanted to have family pictures taken. This was the best gift I could've been given. We had so much fun. If I ever doubt what I am fighting for it is for more days like this one. I encourage you to go and check out the following link to see a slide show.
