Everything went really well today. My mom-in-love was great company and we just talked and talked, so the time went by quickly. Of course I don't know any of the results of the tests yet. The only thing the specialist told me during my Pulmonary Function test was that I was only breathing at 31% of my capacity. I can breath out - I just can't breath in. I already have my CT Scan CD that I need to get to my doctor so that he can review it before my Bronchoscopy.
I can't wait to share the next news....
Yesterday, I called my doctor's office to let them know my tests were scheduled for today. My doctor's assistant said, "I was thinking because you are having all your other tests done at Corona Regional I'm going to schedule your Bronchoscopy there too." My response, "REALLY? I would love to have it done at Corona." She said she would see what she could do and give me a call. When I got home from work yesterday she called to tell me that it was all arranged for me to have it at Corona Regional on Tuesday (Jan. 19th) at 10:00 am.
I was giddy with excitement. I couldn't believe how God worked it all out. I never even prayed for Him to have it at Corona. I was just bummed that it wouldn't be there (OK - so I was a little freaked out). He told me to trust Him, and I did. He always amazes me. He knew exactly what I needed. I know it's not a normal surgery but at least I will see familiar faces and I'm hoping at least one of my angels is working on Tuesday.
OH...I'm so tired from all my huffing and puffing that I'm ready to call it a night.
Thank you for your prayers.
