I'm Home

I was released from the hospital at 9:00 pm last night. I came out sicker than I went in. The antibiotics were stripping my stomach so I was either constantly throwing up, or extremely nauseated. Then the diarrhea started and that causes more tests for them to take. It was a nightmare.

The Pulmonary doctor decided NOT to do the scope because once I got to the hospital the two x-rays did not show the Pneumonia to be as bad as expected.

I was so sick yesterday and was begging for help with the nausea and diarrhea. It wasn't until my own Oncologist was called to the hospital that she came and got me right back to normal. She said if the meds worked I could go home. I had to still meet with my Internist for her recommendation. When she came in, Jim and I talked her into letting me go.

It was so wonderful getting home. I was able to eat something (I couldn't eat for over 24 hours), and I slept for good straight five hours. I plan to go and get some more sleep but wanted to update everyone.

I was very blessed to have a private room in the hospital (an answer to prayer). I thank all who came to see me or called, and Uncle Jack for bringing me a pumkin - very cute. I especially want to thank you all for praying. It means everything to me, so please don't stop. I strongly believe I will only recover from this with prayer and God's healing.

My love to you all.
