I wanted to quickly let you know that there hasn't been much change with me, or my symptoms. Kellie took me to the cancer center yesterday. They gave me fluids and some medicine to try and slow down the stomach spasms. I think it worked while I was there but by 4:00 pm everything started all over again. The pain comes and goes, but when it comes I'm miserable. I don't know if I should walk around, lay down, sit down, or jump over a bridge. I'm considering the later. I know when I left the cancer center they thought I would be on the mend. Personally, I think it's time to stop trying to treat the symptoms and find out the reason behind all of this? Just a thought? It's very difficult dealing with a second complication when we haven't fixed the first one yet. I really am keeping my spirits up - the jumping part is just to make you smile.
My surgery has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 28th at 7:30 am. I see the Oncologist on Monday so I will see what her plans are for chemo. I know it shouldn't be delayed, but I don't think I can handle chemo on top of what I'm going through right now. I just can't imagine she would schedule it for next week.
My blogging might get delayed a little. Our laptop crashed last night so I am using our old desktop computer. I can type faster than it can think. I was already fighting for time on the laptop with the family. I had the opportunity to get on this computer because they all left to go see a concert this morning at Dos Lagos. I pray some of the files can be saved. Of course I just started to put all of our finances in a program. Luckily, I had only gotten through January. Oh well...just another thing to bring out the gift of patience. Can you hear me laughing...only a miracle is going to bring that gift out in me.
Thanks for your continue prayers and walking this journey with me.
I do have another special prayer request: Jim's grandmother had emergency surgery yesterday. She is in ICU. She had a blockage in her intestines and they had to remove 10 inches of her large intestine. It was a dangerous surgery because of her age. Her name is Mildred and his grandfather's name is Robert. Continue to pray for them and Jim's family.

It's gotta be through faith and belief that you all stay sane through all of this. I so admire you for your courage Traci and what a family you have behind you.
Wishing you better days ahead and know I am thinking of you.
xoxo
