One More Day

No test again today. This is crazy.

The cancer center received a call this morning informing them I was scheduled for my test on January 11th. The nurse called back and said, "What part of having it done today don't you understand?" They wouldn't budge so my paperwork was faxed to Riverside Community Hospital. They thought they could get it done today, but it didn't happen.

I am to show up tomorrow morning (1/6/11) at 8:00 am. I don't know the exact time of my test. I'm not allowed to have anything to eat or drink after midnight, and I have to have someone there to drive me. I'm guessing they must be sedating me. Jim will be taking me. I'm a little concerned with not having anything for pain for that many hours. It's been hard pushing it past 4 hours right now. I'm just glad they will be getting it done. We should have the results by tomorrow afternoon.

I will have to do some research on this test (Venogram) because it seems more involved than I first thought. I thought I would get an injection, take some x-rays and be out of there.

I meet with my new Primary Care doctor on Friday. You might want to say some prayers for her too. Smile!
