My PET scan results show NO CANCER!! It was an early Christmas present for the Murphy Family. We are so thrilled.
My oncologist came into the room and told me she didn't want to see me for awhile. I got a big smile on my face and said, "That means what is in that report is good news!" She said, "What's in the report is great news!!" I really wanted to cry but because my cold is so bad I was afraid I really wouldn't be able to breath. Breathing is good.
We thank everyone for all their support and prayers the last few days (change that...the last 14 months). Don't stop...I still have a lot of healing still to do.
I will blog again tomorrow and let everyone know what the Pulmonary doctor has to say. My oncologist says my breathing problems are now way out of her league.
I also can't wait to blog about the Women's Christmas Dinner at church last night. It was such a blessing (thank you Jean for inviting me).
Right now...it's time to spend time with my family...we have much to celebrate and be thankful for.

A Wonderful Gift
As soon as I realized I was going to have surgery I knew I wanted to have family pictures taken. This was the best gift I could've been given. We had so much fun. If I ever doubt what I am fighting for it is for more days like this one. I encourage you to go and check out the following link to see a slide show. Oh, TRACI, I am SO HAPPY for you!I'd have cried FOR you last week! I hadn't checked your blog in a few days and this was THE MOST WONDERFUL NEWS, EVER - to read first thing in the morning or ANY TIME! I'll say it again - I am SO HAPPY for you... and your whole family!
I know we're not close at all and only know each other from baseball which was YEARS ago (and Evin and Matt being friends at school) - but I read your blog all the time and have been praying for you. So I "feel" like KNOW I know you more. I definitely know much more about YOU then you know about ME, but that's "A-OK" (whatever that term really means! lol!)! I think of you all the time and have praying so hard - I just HAD to write something.
God HAS Blessed YOU and I KNOW He will continue to do so. What an AWESOME Christmas present for YOU and everyone that loves, reads your blog - and has been praying FOR YOU!
