Crashed!

The plates have crashed and postponed the tea party.

On Wednesday I just wasn't feeling well. Nothing specific - just dragging.

Today, I made myself get ready and run some errands...one to cancer center for a prescription (and no I didn't tell them how I was feeling), two, to the CT Imaging building to pick up my cocktails for my CT Scan on Monday (more to come regarding this), and lastly I picked up a couple more hats to hide my bigger bald areas, plus some prayer bracelets for my friend Dayna who is off to Nepal...today...so please start praying.

Anyways, I got home and then couldn't stop having bloody noses. As soon as they would stop, ten minutes later they would show up again. I was talking to Dayna, who of course being the RN, encouraged me to call my doctor. To make a story short...so eventually I can write a really long one...I went to docs, platelets down to 5 (way too low), transfusion is for tomorrow but we don't know when because the Red Cross will bring the bags. I guess when I'm done with this stage of my journey I'm going to do something to give back to the Red Cross.

Maybe you could even do your part today. The Red Cross needs your help!

Sorry I can't help with all the other things in your life. I do know a good tea party can help you see what's really important in life and let go of those things that just don't matter.

Just another quick note...premeds worked great during Tuesday's transfusion so I didn't get any reaction. Yeah! Thank you for praying.

I have no idea where I'm taking this whole thing. I just know there are no politics involved, or strange animals.
